Welcome

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our "Caring for Community" initiative. 

Caring for Community grew out of my conviction that as a community we share common goals and we are all better served by working together to improve not only our own lives but the lives of our neighbors.

I have the good fortune of working with people of all ages, who are politically active.  Many are also interested in being more active in their communities, but are unfamiliar with groups or agencies who could use their help.

I encourage you to explore the Caring for Community page to learn more about various important causes and what you can do to support them.  You may also read about the 2008 Winning Women Award winners, nominate a 2009 Winning Woman and find not-for-profit agencies in your community.
